BIO
I started sailing at the age of 5 in the Optimist, inspired by my older siblings. In this class, I achieved three national titles, a South American championship, and two top-ten finishes in the world (8th and 2nd). This success enabled me to gain support from the federation and private companies, allowing me to pursue my sports career more seriously and professionally. After the Optimist, I sailed for 3 years in the 420, securing three South American podiums (1st, 2nd, 2nd), a third-place finish in the ISAF Jr. World Championship, and a 3rd place in the Open World Championship. With this momentum, the Olympic dream was born, and I started sailing in the 470, achieving a second-place finish in South America and qualifying for the London 2012 Olympics at the age of 19, becoming the youngest sailor in that event with only one year of experience in the class. As I grew, I was no longer able to continue as a helmsman in the 470. After 2 years away from sailing, I returned with my older brother in an Olympic project in the 49er category, successfully qualifying for Rio 2016 and achieving two South American podiums (1st and 2nd). Following this, I actively participated in the national S40 circuit as a helmsman and tactician for 2 teams.
